On the occasion of Favorite Good’s final exhibition, Audrey Moyer, along with Paulina Samborska, reflect on the double-life of the space that housed the gallery. While it was built to be a gallery when first entered from the street, the space also was used as a home. Buffering the zones between private and public, the space served these different functions and confused boundaries, breaking down the temple that is the art space and never submitted to the parlorization of most homes.  The Temple and the Parlor further investigates that tension through the work of five artists.
